eDoer has been part of several research projects in different fields of discipline across Germany and Europe. The platform therefore serves as a knowledge base for different academic and vocational communities in:

ADAPT (2021-2024)

The project ADAPT (Implementierung eines adaptiven Weiterbildungssystems in der Pflege) is developing a digital education support system for the nursing profession. Operational learning is optimized by fitting individual learning needs, operational reorganization requirements and vocational training offers to each other.

WBsmart (2021 - 2024)

WBsmart (Bildungswissenschaftliche Grundlegung eines smarten KI-basierten digitalen Weiterbildungsraums für die Altenhilfe mittels personalisierter Empfehlungssysteme) deals with an AI-based digital training space for elderly care and aims to test teaching and learning experiences supported by artificial intelligence (AI). The AI is implemented as a recommendation system in the form of personalized learning recommendations based on a semantic knowledge graph as well as stored job and skill profiles. The development and testing is being carried out in an interdisciplinary joint project consisting of two chairs at the University of Siegen (Knowledge-Based Systems and Knowledge Management: WBS; Vocational and Business Education: BWP) as well as the Learning and Skill Analytics group at the TIB.
