Example : Tracing Human Civilization

Introduction

In this guide, we will create a learning journey about the story of civilization which is heavily relied on the contents described in the series of books with the same name.

  1. We will create a course called “Our Oriental Heritage”, featuring both manual and AI tool capabilities.
  2. We will use another course that has already been created called “The Life of Greece” and “Caesar and Christ: A History of Roman Civilization”.
  3. We will put the courses into a learning journey called “Tracing Human Civilization”.
  4. Finally, we create an assessment for the mentioned journey.

Course: Our Oriental Heritage

Create a course titled “Our Oriental Heritage” by using the “Add” button and following the instructions in the video. Upon successful creation, a confirmation message will be displayed.

Topics

The course is currently empty, and topics can be added in three ways: manually, using AI tools, or reusing existing topics in the system. All three methods can be performed within the same workflow.

Resources

Moving forward, it’s crucial to integrate resources within each topic. Three options are at your disposal:

  •  Manually upload or insert the URL.
  •  Leverage the AI search engine to find relevant topics across platforms like YouTube and Google, and other well-known repositories.
  •  Employ the pre-existing resources within eDoer.

Journey

Let’s assume that the course creation workflow have been used and the following new courses are defined: “The Life of Greece” and “Caesar and Christ“. Now, a new journey can be created called the “Tracing Human Civilization” and the created courses can be added to the journey according to the video.

Assessments

After successfully defining three courses and incorporating them into the learning journey, you are able to create assessments (together with their including questions) for your journey. Do not forget to publish your assessment (from the menu on the top right of the assessment page) when it is ready.
