Start Learning Journey

A learning Journey serves as a space to consolidate multiple courses that share common objectives or themes, creating a cohesive package for learners to follow. In addition to separate course assessments, a journey can also have its own assessment. In the following guide, we will take you through the steps of how to start a learning journey.

Table of Content

Journey Home Page

The Journey homepage comprises a navigation bar and a highlighted tab. This is a space that shows an overview of the courses included in this specific journey, as well as relevant information related to the journey.

This tab displays a list of the courses currently included in the journey. Here you can choose individual courses to learn more about the topics they offer, as well as start learning.

This tab offers information about the journey, that shows the learner if it is relevant to their needs or not. Here you can find information such as the industry this journey applies to, the language and country of origin, as well as a general description, followed by the expected outcomes.

Start a Journey

Starting a journey is very easy. After searching specifically for the journey that interests you, or finding one in the Explore tab, simply tap on the journey you want to start. You will be taken to the journey’s homepage, where all the information about the journey and the courses is accessible. To start the journey,  tap on “Start Learning”.

After starting a journey, it will be visible to you in your Home tab at all times.

Assessments

After finishing a learning journey, it’s important to test your new-found knowledge and skills. It builds confidence in the information you now own and stimulates learning. This is why for every Journey, eDoer offers Assessments.

You can access Assessments on the learning page of a Journey. Here, tap on the three dots, located in the upper right corner, and click on “Assessments”. Afterward, pick an assessment of your choice, tap “Start Assessment” and you will be able to see the questions and solve them. After you are finished answering, tap on “Finish”. Here you can see your results, or simply go back to the Journey’s homepage.

The Assessment’s questions may come in different forms, for example, multiple choice or text. This allows our users to not only test their knowledge but also their analysis skills.

You can also check your previous assessments and their progress by taping on the three dots in the upper right corner of the page and clicking on “Assessment history”.

Close Learning

After you are finished with the courses or want to go back to the journey’s homepage, tap on the three dots on the upper left of the page and click on “Close learning”.
